Supporting the teaching of Earth Science in Australian Schools

Earth Science Western Australia (ESWA) has been supporting the teaching of Earth & Environmental Science and Earth and Space Science since 2005.
We are now pleased to grow our offerings under a new identity for us, Australian Earth Science Education (AusEarthEd).
We will be bringing you the same great content, hands-on activities and  interactives but with more local content for you.

The future is bright
With so many new activities in the pipeline we have launched this new blog in the hope that it will become your 'one stop shop' for the latest on the resources, opportunities and support offered across our projects.

Supporting online learning
We are currently producing the following, to support online and home-based learning across Australia:

  • videos - showcasing the best of our hands-on activities which can be conducted at home
  • interactive booklets - for featured STEM projects, to enable students to record their findings and share them with teachers in a simple format
  •  ask an expert - the facility for Year 11 and 12 students and teachers of Earth and Environmental Science to send in questions, to be answered in a weekly video
  • blog - yes this blog, to highlight our activities and resources that can be accessed and engaged with in a variety of formats
